Delete Account and Data

This page explains how users of Leben in Deutschland Test Prep (LiDPrep) can request deletion of their account and associated data.

1. Preferred Method (In-App)

  1. Open LiDPrep.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap Delete Account.
  4. Confirm the deletion request.

2. Alternative Method (Email Request)

If you cannot access the app, send an email to support@lid-prep.com from the email address linked to your LiDPrep account. Include:

  • Account email address
  • Subject: Account Deletion Request
  • Optional: device ID or screenshots to help verification

3. Data Deleted

  • Account profile data (name, email, account identifiers)
  • Study activity and progress (attempts, sessions, readiness)
  • User content (bookmarks, notes, tags)
  • App-linked local profile data on next sync/reset flow

4. Data That May Be Retained

  • Purchase and transaction records required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or accounting obligations
  • Minimal security/audit logs retained only for required compliance periods

Retained records are limited to what is legally required and are not used for product personalization after account deletion.

5. Processing Time

We process deletion requests as quickly as possible, typically within 30 days.
