1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Leben in Deutschland Test Prep ("LiDPrep", "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 16 years old to use this App.
• If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has consented to your use.

3. Service Description

LiDPrep is an educational app for preparing for Germany's Leben in Deutschland, citizenship, and integration exam formats.

• Practice questions, mock exams, progress tools, and offline-first study flows.
• Free tier includes limited exam attempts and may include ads.
• Premium extends exam limits and unlocks additional study convenience features.

4. Accounts

• You may use the app as a guest or with an authenticated account.
• Authenticated sign-in uses Google OAuth.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and device.
• We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share, resell, or abuse Premium access.
• Copy, scrape, redistribute, or commercially reuse app content.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to bypass technical safeguards.
• Manipulate device/account mechanisms to evade free-tier limits.
• Use the app in violation of applicable law.

6. Intellectual Property

• App code, design, translations, and explanations are protected intellectual property.
• Official question material references are used for educational preparation purposes.
• Your notes, tags, and bookmarks remain your content, used to provide app functionality.

7. Purchases and Refunds

• Payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play.
• RevenueCat is used for entitlement management.
• We do not process or store your credit card details directly.
• Refunds are handled by the relevant app store according to their policies and applicable law.

8. Free-Tier Limit Enforcement

Free exam attempt limits are enforced using a device-based identifier for abuse prevention. Attempts to bypass this limit may result in account or access restrictions.

9. Ads

• Ads may be shown to free users in selected non-exam surfaces.

10. Educational Disclaimer

The app is a study aid. It does not guarantee exam outcomes, citizenship outcomes, or legal outcomes.

11. Availability and Liability

• The app is provided "as is" and "as available".
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free operation.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from app use.

12. Termination

• You may stop using the App at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate access for Terms violations, fraud, or legal requirements.
• Certain provisions survive termination (e.g., intellectual property and liability clauses).

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws in your jurisdiction and mandatory consumer protections, including EU consumer protections where applicable.
